BB 106\u00ae\u00a0 Rootstock is a selection of one of the most popular peach\/almond hybrid rootstocks.\u00a0 A highly vigorous peach-almond hybrid, BB 106\u00ae is nematode resistant, deep rooting, well anchored and drought tolerant. Vigor and productivity are similar to Hansen 536.\u00a0 The anchorage is similar to other peach almond hybrids.\u00a0 It has excellent Rootknot Nematode resistance.\u00a0 Clonal propagation of this rootstock provides more uniform growth and performance than Bright\u2019s Hybrid\u00ae from seed.\u00a0 This selection was a survivor in an orchard with wet soil conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

COMPATIBILITY:<\/strong> <\/span>Almonds, peach, plum (European and Japanese), and apricots. <\/span>
VIGOR:<\/strong><\/span> Approximately 130% the vigor of Nemaguard and 110% the vigor of <\/span>Hansen 536 with almond scions. <\/span>
GROWTH UNIFORMITY:<\/strong><\/span> Excellent. <\/span>Rootstock is clonally propagated, resulting in very high growth uniformity.<\/span>
ROOTSTOCK INDUCED TREE FORM:<\/span><\/strong><\/span> Similar to Nemaguard. <\/span>
ANCHORAGE:<\/strong> Good, similar to other peach x almond rootstocks. <\/span>
YIELD EFFICIENCY:<\/strong><\/span> With almond, yield efficiency is similar to Hansen 536 <\/span>
SUCKERING:<\/strong> <\/span>Produces virtually no suckers. <\/span>
CHILLING REQUIREMENT:<\/strong> <\/span>Similar to Nemaguard. <\/span>
COLD HARDINESS:<\/strong><\/span> Unknown<\/span>
NEMATODE RESISTANCE:<\/strong> <\/span>Confirmed resistance to Rootknot Nematode. Low susceptibility to Lesion Nematode. Ring Nematode resistance is unknown, but not likely present. <\/span>
EFFECT OF ROOTSTOCK ON BACTERIAL CANKER SUSCEPTIBILITY<\/strong>:<\/span> Unknown. Presumed to be more susceptible than Nemaguard. <\/span>
